Mizuba Tea Co. is a woman-owned, family-run Japanese tea company that has sourced pure, organic matcha from Uji, Kyoto — the historic birthplace of Japanese matcha — since 2013. Every tea is shade-grown and stone-milled to order at a 100-year-old family manufactory, a slow, traditional method (rather than jet-milling) that gives Mizuba matcha its depth, silky texture and vivid green colour. Mizuba matcha is first-flush, non-GMO, and certified radiation- and heavy-metal-free, with most grades certified organic — the Nagomi carries Japan's JAS organic certification. The range runs from everyday to ceremonial grade:
