Medina Espejo
Cultivated by Mauro Tulcan in Buesaco, Nariño, Colombia—at 2,000 m above sea level—Medina Espejo is a honey-processed Caturra micro-lot that showcases the vibrancy of high-altitude coffee. Hand-picked cherries ripen slowly under shade canopies, then are partly dried with mucilage intact to deepen sweetness and body. This sustainable approach highlights the farm’s biodiversity and commitment to specialty standards.
Medina Espejo charms with juicy tropical mango and pineapple notes, bright red-berry acidity and smooth honey sweetness. Subtle floral aromas of hibiscus and lavender complement a rich cocoa-nib finish, creating a multi-dimensional flavor profile adored by coffee connoisseurs. Direct trade relationships ensure farmers receive premium pricing, empowering local communities and elevating Colombian coffee excellence.
