Grown at 1,440 m on the volcanic slopes of southern Tanzania’s Mbeya region, Songwa AA is a direct‑trade, micro‑lot specialty coffee cultivated by smallholder farmers. The rich volcanic soil and cool highland climate yield Bourbon cherries with exceptional sweetness and clarity.

In your cup, Songwa AA greets you with bright green‑apple acidity, wild honey sweetness and soft caramel undertones, all balanced by a smooth, syrupy body. Expertly roasted to specialty grade, this single origin coffee highlights its unique terroir and farm‑to‑cup traceability.

Filter / Pour‑Over Recommendation:
Use 18 g of coffee to 300 g of water at 94 °C in a Hario V60. Bloom for 30 seconds, then pour in concentric circles over 2½ minutes to emphasize its crisp fruit notes and clean finish.

Espresso Recipe:
Dose 19 g and extract 38 g in 25 seconds at 9 bar—expect natural sweetness and a silky mouthfeel.
