Each drip bag contains 10–12g of freshly-ground specialty coffee in a sealed sachet with built-in paper filter and folding ears that hang over any standard mug. Pour hot water through, wait 3–4 minutes, lift out the spent bag — and you have a clean cup of pour-over-quality coffee in 60 seconds. No grinder, no scale, no V60, no equipment required.

Why coffee drip bags from PERCUP

  • Pour-over quality without the gear. Drip bags use the same paper-filter pour-over method as a V60 or Chemex — just pre-portioned and pre-ground for single-serve use. The taste is filter coffee, not instant.
  • Single-origin selection no instant coffee can match. Real specialty beans from named farms and cooperatives — Colombian Huila, Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, Brazilian Cerrado, Panama Geisha, Kenya AA.
  • Roaster breadth. ST. ALi, SOFE Coffee, ROR Roastery, THREE Coffee, Flava Coffee, Island of Gods, and more — international and regional specialty roasters in one marketplace.
  • Perfect for travel, office, hotels and camping. Lightweight, sealed, shelf-stable for 12+ months. TSA-friendly. The ideal way to drink specialty coffee away from home.
  • Free UAE delivery on orders over AED 200, same-day available in Dubai, global shipping at checkout.

How drip bags work

  1. Tear open the foil sachet and unfold the drip bag.
  2. Hang the folding paper ears over the rim of your mug — the bag suspends inside the cup.
  3. Pour 30ml of hot water (90–95°C) over the grounds and let bloom for 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the remaining 150–200ml of water slowly in 2–3 pours over 2 minutes.
  5. Wait 30–60 more seconds for the drip to finish, lift out the bag, and enjoy.

Why specialty drip bags from PERCUP

Every drip bag on PERCUP contains specialty-grade coffee (SCA 80+) — the top 10% of coffee produced worldwide. We don't stock supermarket "coffee bags" filled with commodity blends. Beans are traceable to specific farms and cooperatives, freshly roasted, then ground and sealed in nitrogen-flush sachets to preserve flavour for 12+ months. The result is pour-over-quality coffee anywhere — from your office desk to a hotel room halfway across the world.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are coffee drip bags and how do they work? +

Coffee drip bags are single-serve sachets containing 10–12g of freshly-ground specialty coffee inside a built-in paper filter. The sachet has folding paper ears that hang the filter over the rim of any standard mug. You pour hot water through, let it drip for 3–4 minutes, then lift out the spent bag. The result is pour-over-quality filter coffee in under 60 seconds — no grinder, scale, V60 or equipment required.

Where can I buy specialty coffee drip bags online? +

You can buy specialty coffee drip bags online at PERCUP. We stock 20+ drip bag products from international and regional specialty roasters including ST. ALi (Australia), SOFE Coffee, ROR Roastery, THREE Coffee, Flava Coffee, and Island of Gods. Origins include Colombia, Ethiopia, Brazil, Kenya, Uganda, Congo, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama Geisha. UAE delivery is 1–3 business days; international shipping available at checkout.

Do drip bags taste as good as proper pour-over coffee? +

Yes — drip bags use the same paper-filter pour-over method as a V60 or Chemex, just pre-portioned and pre-ground. When you use freshly-roasted specialty coffee sealed in nitrogen-flush packaging (as all PERCUP drip bags are), the brew quality is essentially identical to filter coffee made on dedicated equipment. The only compromise is grind freshness — pre-ground coffee loses some aromatic complexity compared to grinding immediately before brewing.

How long do coffee drip bags last? +

Specialty coffee drip bags stay fresh for 12+ months unopened, thanks to nitrogen-flush foil packaging that protects the ground coffee from oxygen, light and moisture. Once you open a foil sachet, brew it within minutes for best flavour. Store unopened drip bags in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight — no fridge or freezer needed.

Are drip bags good for travel and the office? +

Drip bags are the ideal way to drink specialty coffee away from home. They are lightweight, shelf-stable, TSA-friendly, and require only a mug and hot water to brew. Drip bags work perfectly in hotel rooms, on flights (with hot water from the cabin crew), at the office, while camping, or anywhere you can't bring a grinder and V60. Many roasters now design specific drip bag blends optimised for the format.

What's the difference between drip bags and instant coffee? +

Drip bags contain freshly-ground whole coffee — when you brew them, the hot water extracts flavour from real coffee grounds through a paper filter, just like pour-over brewing. Instant coffee is brewed coffee that's been freeze-dried or spray-dried into soluble granules, which you reconstitute with hot water. Drip bags taste like filter coffee. Instant coffee tastes like instant coffee. Drip bags cost more per cup but deliver vastly better flavour.

How fresh is the coffee in your drip bags? +

Every drip bag on PERCUP is filled with freshly-ground specialty coffee and sealed in nitrogen-flush foil sachets within hours of grinding. Roasters typically grind and seal drip bags within days of the roast date. The nitrogen-flush packaging preserves flavour for 12+ months, but for peak flavour we recommend consuming within 6 months of purchase. Brew within minutes of opening the foil sachet.
