PERCUP's herbal tea collection brings the UAE a caffeine-free range of tisanes — infusions made from herbs, flowers, fruits, roots and spices rather than the Camellia sinensis tea plant. Every blend is chosen for flavour and everyday wellness, available as loose leaf and tea bags and delivered across Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE.

Caffeine-free teas for every moment

From calming chamomile and refreshing peppermint to antioxidant-rich hibiscus and naturally sweet rooibos, herbal teas suit any time of day — especially the evening wind-down. Because they contain no tea leaf, the vast majority are 100% caffeine-free.

How to brew herbal tea

Use one teaspoon of loose tea (or one bag) per cup, pour freshly boiled water at around 100°C, and steep 5–7 minutes — longer than green or black tea. Herbal teas won't turn bitter, so steep to taste. Prefer a little caffeine? Browse our green tea, black tea and tea blends, or the naturally sweet fruit tea collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is herbal tea? +

Herbal tea (also called a tisane) is an infusion made from dried herbs, flowers, fruits, roots or spices rather than the Camellia sinensis tea plant. Because it doesn't come from the tea plant, most herbal teas are naturally caffeine-free — making them a popular choice for evenings, relaxation and everyday wellness.

Is herbal tea caffeine-free? +

Yes — the vast majority of herbal teas are 100% caffeine-free, including chamomile, peppermint, rooibos, hibiscus and lemongrass blends. A few botanicals such as yerba mate or blends that include green or black tea do contain caffeine, so check the ingredients if you're avoiding it entirely.

What are the benefits of herbal tea? +

Different herbs offer different benefits: chamomile and lavender are prized for relaxation and sleep, peppermint and ginger support digestion, hibiscus is rich in antioxidants, and rooibos is naturally mineral-rich. Herbal teas are a gentle, hydrating way to enjoy these botanicals without caffeine.

How do you brew herbal tea? +

Use one teaspoon of loose herbal tea (or one bag) per cup, pour freshly boiled water at around 100°C over it, and steep for 5 to 7 minutes — longer than green or black tea. Herbal teas are forgiving and won't turn bitter, so you can steep to taste.

Which herbal tea is best for sleep? +

Chamomile is the classic bedtime herbal tea, often blended with lavender, valerian or lemon balm for a calming, caffeine-free wind-down. Peppermint and rooibos are also gentle evening options that won't disrupt your sleep.
