Vegan hoji tiramisu

Get ready to embark on a tiramisu adventure like no other, where the rich, roasted flavor of Japanese Hojicha Powder takes center stage. Organic, sweet, and entirely plant-based, this secret ingredient is about to transform your dessert game.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegan whipped cream (we used cocowhip)
  • 3/4 cup silken tofu
  • 1 tsp Hojicha Powder, plus more to garnish
  • 1/2 cup hot water
  • 2 vegan cookies (store bought works fine)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the vegan whipped cream and silken tofu. Fold the tofu into the whipped cream until combined. Set aside in the freezer to keep chilled.
  2. Brew the hojicha in a bowl using 1/2 cup hot water.
  3. Place one vegan cookie in the hojicha and let it soak for 5 seconds. Remove and place in a serving glass.
  4. Fill the glass halfway with the whipped cream mixture, then repeat step 3 with the remaining cookie. Fill the glass to the brim with the rest of the cream.
  5. Garnish with sifted hojicha powder and serve.
